A Little About Our Passion
At the age of 14, Kathryn started painting in oils; and she was hooked! Although she remembered drawing and coloring from a very early age, it was a love for oils that set her on a path for her future. After pursuing a Fine Arts degree, with an Interior Design major, she practiced design for 25 years. Then she decided to go back to her roots as a painter. She has studied with many of today's Master Painters, and is sharing what she has learned with her many painting students at Gray Gallery + Studio, in Louisville, Kentucky. She has been teaching painting now for 15 years. Winning numerous awards for her work, she continues to commit herself to the fine art of oil painting and sharing her passion with others.
